1928–1942 — Maurice W. Foulke • Founded and shaped the early Big Red Band program. His tenure included building the ensemble into a community and school centerpiece.
1942–1945 — Maurice W. Foulke(U.S. Army service in WWII) • Served as a U.S. Army T4 in Italy during WWII; the band continued with interim leadership.
1944 (interim) — Miss Ruth Kratz • Served as interim director during Foulke’s military service.
1944–1945 (interim) — Mrs. Evelyn Kreibel • Served as interim director alongside Miss Kratz.
1945–1966 — Maurice W. Foulke • Returned post-war and continued prolific service in music education (nearly 57 years in the district).
